Newsweek names Graeter’s Ice Cream one of nation’s favorite restaurant chains

Cincinnati’s staple, Graeter’s Ice Cream, was named in Newsweek’s 2022 list of “America’s Favorite Restaurant Chains.”

The list, which was compiled by Newsweek and global data company Statista, recognized restaurants in different categories, based on the results of a survey of more than 4,000 restaurant chain customers and employees.

This year there are 220 winners in 16 restaurant categories in total, which include: barbecue, burgers, chicken, Chinese, coffee and tea / baked goods, ice cream and frozen yogurt, Italian, juice and smoothies, noodles and ramen , pizza, sandwiches, seafood, soup, steak, sushi and Tex-Mex.

With a five-star rating, Graeter’s made it to the ice cream and frozen yogurt list, along with its competitors Dairy Queen, Freddy’s, Baskin-Robbins, and Cold Stone Creamery, among others.

Of the 20 chains making the ice cream and frozen yogurt list, Graeter’s was one of nine to receive a five-star rating.

In addition to its regular menu, Graeter’s currently offers limited edition flavors during the holidays: Peppermint Stick, available late November through December, and Eggnog, available December.
