A favorite Lanarkshire food company is branding Veganuary with the launch of a new dairy-free ice cream.
Equi’s has created a crunchy flavor of 100% vegan Italian biscoff, made with cocoa butter and coconut oil.
It is available at the ice cream company’s flagship parlor on Burnbank Road in Hamilton; and is also served at Glasgow’s Rooftop Bar and Vega Restaurant.

Marketing Manager, Alexandra Equi, said: “We love experimenting with new flavors and we think this might be one of our best yet.
“We’ve seen a real increase in demand for vegan treats over the past few years and we didn’t want Biscoff’s vegan fans to miss out on them.
“Teaming up with Vega for Veganuary means customers can really indulge, with Equi’s exclusive biscoff Italian ice cream available only for a limited time, and we hope our vegan fans will love the new flavor.”
Described as a “little ball of heaven”, the dairy-free ice cream will be used in a limited-edition dessert at the Glasgow restaurant for the next four weeks, alongside its vegan brownie.
Vega Managing Director Neil Taylor added: “We are delighted to be the only venue in Scotland to stock Equi’s brand new vegan ice cream for Veganuary – it has already been a treat for staff and we can’t wait. to serve her.”
